The further into the National Park we travel with the river boat, the wilder the nature becomes. Here you can experience up close the "canyon" of steep mountain sides, spectacular waterfalls, wildlife and green lush nature that provides memories for life.
We will pass famous landmarks such as Sieimma the King (Great Pine), petroglyphs and Mollisfossen. If desired, we set aside time for a stop at these sights. We start the hike to Imofossen from Nausti. The trip takes about 1.5 hours by leisurely walking. The hike is an experience in itself with partly challenging terrain in a well-organized hiking trail. Arriving at Imofossen, we enjoy the sight and experience of the magnificent waterfalls that rumble down in a giant cauldron! At the campfire we cook coffee and eat food before we finish and start again. On the trip down the river we set aside time for a stop at the mighty Mollis waterfall!

We start the exciting river boat trip into Reisa National Park in "Dronningstøa" which is located past Saraelv, at the very end of Reisadalen. Here you will also find "Ovi Raishiin - Visitor Point Reisadalen" which is recommended to be visited before or after the river boat trip.
At the start of the trip in Saraelv (departure river boat) and the start of the trip for the hike in Nausti, there is an outdoor toilet that can be used. The hike to Imofossen requires good physical shape and good shoes. At Imofossen there is a campfire site. Tips for packed lunches can be barbecue foods such as sausages or sandwiches.
